Project management for the Swedish part of the PICO-Light project, with the aim of developing internal party financing in the public sector.
Borg & Co. was responsible for the project management of PICO-Light in Sweden.The project tested the so-called "Public Internal Contracting", a form of internalparty financing and energy service business, on behalf of the European Commission.
The Pico method, means that a public administration organizes work in such a way so that a unit assumes the role of internal ESCO (Energy Service Company) and implements energy-saving investments in other entities of the same management.Like other energy service companies the idea is that energy savings should financethe investment.
